I have one purebred Newfie girl for sale. Both mom and dad are registered. She will be vet checked, vaccinated and dewormed before she goes to her new home. This little girl seems to be fairly tight mouthed so drool will be minimal if at all. I offer a one year health guarantee. Please feel free to e-mail or call for more information.

NEWFOUNDLAND DOGS
The Newfoundland is a strong, massive dog. The head is broad and heavy with a slightly arched crown. Height: Dogs 27-29 inches, females 25-27 inches. Weight: Dogs 130-150 pounds, females 100-120 pounds. Their life expectancy is between 9 - 15 years - Average 10
Newfies love to swim, and will lay in water if they get the chance. They tends to be very messy when drinking water and often drinks a lot. They do drool, especially after getting a drink, but generally are not one of the worst offenders compared to some other giant breeds. Newfoundland dogs excel at water rescue/lifesaving due to their muscular build, thick double coat, webbed feet, and innate swimming abilities. The plucky breed is credited for pulling so many people in distress from the water that it has earned its nickname "lifeguard dog." With their instinctive urge to rescue people in need, Newfoundlands use big, powerful strokes to swim out to a person in trouble and they use their large mouths to grab and tow someone to the safety of the shore.
The Newfoundland dog is legendary for its calm and docile nature and its strength. They have an outstanding, sweet temperament, courageous, generous, peaceable and intelligent. A calm, patient dog, who is mild with guests, and obedient with its master. They rarely bark, but are protective and brave when they need to be. When an intruder is caught they are more likely to hold them at bay, either by trapping them in a corner or placing themselves in-between the burglar and the family rather than an all out attack. Any dog, other animal, child, or visitor who has no evil intention will receive a friendly welcome. They are exceptionally good with children, but due to their size at a very young age, small children could get accidentally leaned on and knocked down. These cuddly teddy bears are very gentle and sweet. They are very sensitive to the tone of your voice.
Will do okay in an apartment if sufficiently exercised. They are relatively inactive indoors and a small yard is sufficient. Newfies prefer colder climates and do not do well in the heat. Make sure there is always cool water and a shaded place for them to lay. This gentle giant is quite content to laze around the house, but they still need to be taken on a daily walk.It will enjoy frequent opportunities to swim and frolic.
